Dr. Alexander Nee
Board Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Alexander Nee has treated thousands of orthodontic patients over his career! His extensive experience, knowledge, and compassionate attitude lead to life-changing results for his patients. To pursue his dream of making people smile, Dr. Nee first attended UC Berkeley and then finished his schooling at UC San Francisco. Dr. Nee considers orthodontics to be his calling and his passion! As a patient at Insight Orthodontics, you will receive the highest care and come away deeply impressed with the results.
Professional Affiliations
Dr. Nee received his education from premier universities. At UC Berkeley, he graduated in biology with the highest honors, then attended UC San Francisco to complete his dental degree and stayed at UCSF for his orthodontic residency. UCSF is considered to be the top university for the health sciences! Upon completion of his studies, he passed further testing to become board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Only a small fraction of orthodontists ever achieve this distinction! He is a recognized member of the American Association of Orthodontics.
Family/Outside the Office
Dr. Nee is a born and bred Californian. He grew up in Arcadia, California before he settled in the beautiful city of San Marcos. In his free time, he enjoys running, watching the NBA, and reading books. His favorite movies are Jurassic Park and the Matrix!
Dr. Huy Dong
General Dentist
Dr. Huy (Anderson) Dong attended Texas Tech University where he graduated Magnum Cum Laude, earning his master’s degree in biotechnology. In efforts to advance the field of study, Dr. Anderson Dong showed his dedication by publishing a multitude of articles that reflected his research in antibiotics, antibiotic combinations, and the use of selenium in biomaterials.
Dr. Anderson Dong then went on, with his newfound knowledge to pursue his true passion in Dentistry. It was then that he attended and graduated from the prestigious University of Texas Dental School, located in Houston, Texas.
The commitment to excellence continued as Dr. Anderson Dong then commissioned in the U.S. Navy and continued four years of additional rigorous training. Serving his country is something he is most proud of.
During this training, he gained extensive knowledge in a vast array of dental procedures. The procedures include Cad/Cam dentistry, oral surgery, endodontic therapy, implantology , and cosmetic dentistry. In providing care to military members as well as civilians, it has deepened his dedication to patient-centered care. With the skills, knowledge, and experience that Dr. Anderson Dong has acquired, he will continue to excel in dentistry and patient care.

Hi there! I’m Yahaira your go-to Patient Coordinator and the friendly face you’ll see when you walk through our doors. Born and raised in North County, I’ve spent the last 3 years in the dental field helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for every step of the way.
When I’m not making schedules and spreading smiles, I’m probably out exploring a hiking trail, admiring cars at a local show, or squeezing in a good gym session. I’m all about positive vibes, real connections, and helping you feel right at home here!
